Job Purpose
ROLE DESCRIPTION

•    An exceptional Global Quant group is looking for outstanding junior team members to join their Front Office Quant team in London.
•    Working for a group that promotes a high performing culture, hires will join a small team of strong individuals that directly support the trading desk as Quants, whilst also developing quant tools and interacting/directing technology teams, developing quant software to address firm’s trading needs. 
•    Working within a flat structure, the positions allow for a broad remit to 
o    develop models
o    write pricers and algorithms 
o    define payoffs
o    bootstrap and interpolate curves
o    create analytical tools 
o    research using data to identify best possible prices for the firm
o    remediate analytics components
o    document quant architecture and analytics libraries
•    We are ideally looking for fresh and recent graduates. Candidates must have an exceptional academic record. No prior work experience is required but a degree in mathematical finance, science or math or engineering is a must. Therefore candidate mush hold BSc/MSc in STEM from a top university. The roles available are ideal for candidates who have very strong coding skills and quantitative aptitude.

Qualifications

 

Certifications, Qualifications and Experience
•    Ability to write clean, reliable and highly scalable code.
•    Python experience at least in one project (expected to be fluent)
•    C++ experience (less so when compared to python, but is also required)
•    Proficient on tooling including but not limited to GIT, JENKINS and JIRA.
•    Very good communication skills
•    Eager to learn and develop
