Job Description

Must be able to perform all Quality Control functions.

     Adhere to good manufacturing practices, including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming, hygiene, etc.

     Coach and develop employees on food satefy & quality behaviors, food safety culture, including training, paperwork corrections, and THE

      RISE program.

     Responsible for updating and maintaining Food Safety Plans / HACCP Plans, plant procedures, and documents, QMAN documents,

     etc.

     Assist QA Management in investigating and completing consumer complaints.

     Participates and assist in audits (SQF, Regulatory, CAG, 3rd party, etc.)

     Responsible for maintaining and updating computer files and records (MSP listing, plant trial data, etc.).

     Assist with Plant Mock Recalls.

     Set-up, plan, research, perform and complete assigned unique projects as required to include plant trials.

     Assist and serve as a backup lab technician to both QC labs performing analytical testing, physical testing, seam teardowns, set-up

     equipment and calibrations.

Assist with reviewing all production records, SSOP audits, and QA records as required per the canning regulation, regulatory agencies,

     and Conagra to ensure documents comply.

     Assist with Releasing, destroying, and holding finished product / raw materials (SAP), Hold Forms, C2's, AOD's, etc.)

     Obtain product samples from production areas, receiving dock, tanker trucks, and perform physical and instrumentation testing and

     analysis of raw materials, in-process, new ingredients, and finished product.

     Enter testing and analysis data into the Quality Assurance Database (infinity QA, etc.)

     Keep current with MSDS training, lab methods, and specifications.

     Perform SSOP / GMP audits.

     Cross-train within the Quality Dept. in various positions.

     Responsible for reporting any food safety and quality issues to supervision.

     Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift as needed.

      Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
