Job Summary

The Quality Development Program (QDP), with focus on Quality Assurance and Management, provides an accelerated training program for college graduates who have an ability to excel in today's manufacturing environment. The program will provide you with exposure to the various facets of Quality and Supply Chain within a diverse manufacturing organization and an opportunity to develop into a future Quality leader. The QDP will build on your technical skillsets by providing exposure to experienced Conagra Brands professionals through manufacturing settings. You will report into a Quality Manager throughout the program.

Assignments will typically last 18-24 months but will vary based on several factors including your industry experience, career aspirations, and business need. During the program, you will work as part of a team to lead process improvement opportunities and support a food safety culture.

Position Responsibilities

• Assure products meet all food safety and quality requirements
• Ensure required information for products are documented, updated, and available
• Conduct data analysis and analyze trends for process control improvements
• Lead plant Quality processes
• Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost reduction and customer service
• Manage quality staff to attain quality goals and production schedules
• Identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues
• Develop implementation plans and standards
• Lead important improvement processes
• Learn core-responsibilities in the ConAgra Performance System (CPS)

 Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food/Nutritional Sciences, Biological Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Leadership experience
• Statistical process control knowledge
• Ability to react to daily situations without losing sight of strategy
• Desire to grow within our Quality Department
• Ability to relocate and to travel up to 20%
