Job Summary & Responsibilities

Colgate-Palmolive invites applications to the Quality Engineer position located at our manufacturing plant in Burlington, NJ. The responsibilities of this position are as follows:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead Technology Transfer program for all new formulas and raw materials, coordinating with R&D, procurement, operations, and customers to meet supply chain grids
  • Lead nonconformance and failure investigations and conduct periodic trend analysis
  • Lead management of site change control program (MOC) including creation, routing and follow-up to close activities
  • Build and maintain plant wide standard operating procedures, associated forms and documents in documentation management system (DMS)
  • Coordinate and maintain InBatch recipe creation, approval and general system troubleshooting
  • Maintain master list of raw material and finished products
  • Conduct statistical data analysis for new flavor formulations
  • Maintain Master Validation plan and associated activities
  • Develop and maintain validation protocols for various compliance initiatives and supervise through completion
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day to do production quality issues for continuous improvement and implement effective corrective & preventative actions
  • Conduct internal audits to assess level of compliance to the Quality Standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in a Quality role
  • A proven track record in a manufacturing plant environment
  • A minimum of 2 year of experience in writing Nonconformance’s, Deviations, and CAPA(s).
  • A minimum of 2 year of experience in Quality Assurance 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in cGMP environment
  • Experience in a Technology Transfer role
  • Experience using SAP or other plant related computer systems
  • Experience as an auditor
  • Proven understanding of validation
