A day in the life
As a Quality Assurance Technician (QAT) at Amazon Appstore DEX, you will test cutting edge applications and products at the user level, both manually and with automated tools to enhance the Developer journey in Appstore.

Job responsibilities
We are looking for a “Quality Assurance Technician" who is passionate to work on core system architecture and cutting edge technologies.


Individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion, with guidance.

QAT would be responsible for understanding the features and detailed functional requirements well enough, coming up with the test cases with some guidance, test execution and reporting with high bar on quality.

QAT's are technically savvy in use of software, computers and devices, support automation, can install and configure software, can use debug settings, have technical ability to gather logs, traces, etc. to add to bug reports when provided with instructions.

They assist developers or other testers and maintain a high quality test environment.

Key job responsibilities
Manual Functional Testing and Automation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Technician
Experience in manual testing
Experience in automation testing
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Good Analytical skills
Knowledge on QA Methodology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Selenium, TestNG and other open source testing tools for Automation
Knowledge of Java, C++ programming language
