Robert Half is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst! If you are experienced with manual and automated testing, this is the position for you! The individual in this role will be responsible for mainly front-end testing. This is a fully remote contract to full-time role.   Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated test scenarios for various web-based systems to ensure that the deliverables meet business requirements and company quality goals.   Actively participate in development planning meetings, prepare and execute test scenarios, document results, report deficiencies, and track code defects to closure.

Requirements

Proficient in developing test plans and scenarios Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Test Manager, or similar suite Experience testing web-based applications and web service calls Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Outstanding written, listening, and verbal communication skills Understanding and/or working knowledge of SQL/Oracle databases with the ability to write basic queries, and how to query and set up test data Skilled in reviewing technical specifications, business requirements, and similar documents to assess required test coverage General technical background, (example: familiar with ‘terms’ such as TCP/IP, FTP, SSL) Firm skill in working with Microsoft Office suite or similar desktop applications Working knowledge of Windows and Web-based applications Azure DevOps for logging bugs, etc. (can come in without it but with other testing tools) Manual testing
