Operations Senior Consultant – National Advisory Quality and Risk Management (QRM)

Work you’ll do

We are looking for frontrunners to help us grow our Quality and Risk Management organization by applying your Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience to the professional services industry. 

In your role, you will be supporting day-to-day QRM operations, including business process improvement efforts focused on transformation through technology that support the Advisory business and the QRM Network.

You’ll establish a professional rapport with internal clients at all levels in representing QRM priorities and objectives, presenting persuasive and articulate ideas. The projects you’ll work on will require candidates to be self-motivated, possess the ability to think analytically, work independently, yet also collaborate and work well in a team environment. You’ll participate in business-side application design, deliver training, write communications, and obtain an enhanced understanding of Advisory’s quality and risk management program and policies. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will support daily operations, liaising with QRM support and IT to troubleshoot, communicate, track, and follow the resolution of problems in production and non-production environments, as they arise
  • You will obtain a working knowledge of Advisory’s application landscape and liaise with application support teams to identify issues, improvements, or enhancements
  • You will execute periodic maintenance analyses, and provide insights on projects related to quality and risk management, possessing an overall understanding of appropriate business processes and workflows
  • You will coordinate and contribute to the development of learning materials, content published on internal QRM sites and work independently to understand, confirm, and propose content updates
  • You will coordinate efforts and process enhancement requests from the business, QRM Network and QRM Support, define and prioritize features, and work with IT to maintain product release and sprint backlogs
  • You will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment activities and communications within the project lifecycle, seeking to identify and communicate training points and opportunities
  • You will support efforts to socialize and discuss planned updates with the broader QRM Network and business

Qualifications:

  • Responsive and proactive, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced changes and shift focus easily. Versatile and curious. Respond timely to inquiries, requests, and coordinate appropriate follow-up
  • Leadership skills, navigate internal organizational resources (e.g., other businesses, Talent, ITS, product teams) to evaluate potential solutions
  • Detail oriented and analytical, with the ability to think broadly about tasks performed
  • Ability to manage own schedule, evaluate priorities, effectively plan and organize, is attentive to deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is required, and familiarity with Tableau reporting is a plus
  • Keen ability to communicate clearly, efficiently, and effectively (written and verbal)
  • Strong management, communication and remote collaboration skills. Experience in dealing with multiple projects and multi-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment
  • Strong relationship building and maintaining skills. Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients (internal and external)
  • Travel up to 5% (While 5% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been deferred until further notice)
  • Ability to seek feedback and engage in the talent performance processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years related work experience

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Risk and Financial Advisory businesses, applications and enabling areas, a plus
  • Experience working on business process improvement initiatives
  • Consultancy/service organization experience
  • This is a remote position and preferred locations will be in the Eastern Time Zone (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut).
