THE ROLE
As a QA Product Assessor located in the Atlanta Fulfilment Centre (FC), you will be key member of the QA team in assessing incoming goods onsite to ensure that the ASOS customer receives the right product that will meet their expectation. You will act as a filter to ensure ASOS product is legally compliant for relevant standards based on the information provided. It will also involve helping to rectify goods that have arrived but need reworking, to ensure that they are correct when sent to the customer.

The QA Team at our Fulfilment Centre (FC) in Atlanta will be a key component in the continuing success at ASOS.com. They ensure that our products are the best quality they could possibly be, and that customers get great value for money. The ASOS QA team are instrumental in accomplishing our business objectives.
What you’ll be doing… 
Having accountability for checking and reporting on ASOS own buy or branded (as allocated) product arriving in the FC against the website and other ASOS systems to ensure the product is correct
Inspection and separation of substandard product, including minor rework as and when requested
Ensuring all reporting is performed using the QA IT tool
Analysing results of QA inspection to determine whether stock passes basic quality procedure
Ensuring resolution and inspection of high returning styles and verbal customer complaints via the systems
Working to agreed key performance indicators including but not limited to productivity, cost saving and housekeeping standards.
Undertaking any reasonable task requested of you to support the QA departments responsibilities, tasks, and function
Ensuring accurate information is added / updated on all relevant ASOS systems to allow the product to progress after the product assessment has taken place
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with ASOS colleagues in all locations
We’d love to meet someone with… 
Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential
The ability to work individually under his / her own initiative but as part of a larger team
Knowledge of how to apply basic rework tasks to product is advantageous
The ability to work to deadlines
Good analytical skills
Good team playing skills and show a can-do attitude
Great organisational and planning skills
Strong verbal and communication skills
Great attention to detail and a natural problem solver with the ability to identify business issues, their impact and quickly drive a suitable solution
Efficient in Outlook and Microsoft office specifically Excel
