Job Description

The QA Manager acts independently to perform regular guarantee performance site visits and controls audits to confirm proper operation of equipment, services and compliance with contractual parameters to ensure that the company is meeting the savings guarantees as outlined in the Energy Audit agreements with the customer.

Essential Duties

• Confirm proper operation of equipment related to ECM’s installed using ECM checklists for each specific project
• Gather information regarding changes made to the equipment or operations that impact utility usage
• Work with the M&V team to confirm equipment lists, seasonality and scale of savings expected and current to date utility savings
• Inspect all building areas and installed equipment to ensure that set points have not been changed and are compliant with the original savings program
• Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations for both internal and external customers
• Perform follow-up inspections to ensure corrective actions have been taken for any items or areas which were determined to be outside of the contract parameters
• Plan and schedule timelines using appropriate tools to ensure all quarterly visits are completed in a timely manner
• Build, develop and grow business relationships with both internal and external customers that are vital to the success of the energy savings programs
• Document material changes in the customer’s baseline. Examples would be extended operating hours, altered setpoints or new building additions.

Minimum Requirements

• College degree preferred – Engineering degree a plus
• Professional QA inspection experience a plus
• Five (5) years of experience in the HVAC industry
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems including Niagara and WebControl. N4 programming preferred.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
• Must submit to and pass a drug screen.
• Ability to enforce quality control, and ensure compliance with quality standards and contract requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
