QA Engineer – Supply Chain Technology

We are looking for a QA Engineer within the Supply Chain Technology team - Warehouse platform with a primary focus on setting up and developing the continuous improvement of the software testing procedures, standards, and tools within the QA domain.
The successful candidate will primarily be based at our state-of-the-art Eurohub warehouse located just south of Berlin - (Grossbeeren), which currently supports the fulfilment of over 31m orders a year across 50+ EU and non-EU countries and is targeting more growth.
Your Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Test & QA Manager, Platform Team, and with the central QA function to deliver well-crafted software
Execution of Unit, System, Integration, Regression test phases
Support and execute Non Functional testing in line with best practices, through scripting and Automation.
Working collaboratively using Agile and Waterfall methodologies with the local platform and project functions – Business Analysts/ Solution Architects/ Project Managers/ 3rd parties
Support and develop our 3rd party UAT team to adhere to the testing framework and the set quality standards, keeping them continually challenged, motivated and mentored
Adhere to testing quality standards, support continuous improvement, identify and implement relevant tooling, technologies or working practices which lead to improved quality and productivity
Support and develop our 3rd party UAT team
Your profile:
2+ years of QA Engineer experience in a software engineering/ QA team
Proven track record of effectively testing business systems and applications across complex integration projects
Understanding of integration testing and the ability to work alongside internal and external project teams and 3rd parties
Proficient in English
Strong understanding of testing best practices, software development lifecycle, and associated test techniques
Team spirit and strong communication skills together with an analytical and conceptual way of working
Nice to have:
Experience of working in the Supply Chain, retail industry or FMCG distribution
German and Polish language skills
Experience of test automation and non functional testing
Good understanding of Warehouse and Distribution systems software (WMS, ERP, WCS..)
Experience with managing external suppliers
Managed a team of QAs
Experience of Cucumber, Selenium, or similar toolsets to support automation, and non functional testing.
Working experience in one of the following: C# or Java, NUnit, Junit, jbehave, JSON and XML
