Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable, highly available and fault-tolerant cloud-based solutions.
• Understanding of how to build performance, decoupled, testable, maintainable code
• Develop new capabilities within the business by providing solutions, engaging appropriate stakeholders.
• Come up with “just enough” design, plotting a path to maximise the value delivered while continually improving solutions as per the architecture road map.
• Work with the architecture to ensure solutions are consistent with architectural patterns, standards & practices; align with the overarching architectural road map.
• Support test and deployment of new products and features.
• Participate in code reviews.

 
Qualifications

• The ability to work with complexity and ambiguity.
• A demonstrated application development experience with the mastery of python or node with exposure to AWS (lambda and dynamoDB) would be ideal.
• Working knowledge with React or Angular would be an added advantage.
• Skills to detect and debug issues, come up with root cause analysis -focus on the root cause as opposed to the symptoms.
• A good grasp of modern DevOps paradigms and how they can be leveraged with the key awareness of microservices would be an added advantage.
