We are currently looking for a Purchase to Payment (P2P) Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic project team working on the start-up of our new 1.3MM square foot warehouse distribution and customer fulfillment center in Morris, IL.

What will you do?The Purchase to Payment Accounting Analyst has responsibility for and ownership of the Purchase to Payment (P2P) processes and measures for the site including materials/ services received and vendors appropriately paid and on time for goods and services rendered. This individual will also assist with various plant-level accounting functions including 3PL billing.
The Greater Chicago Fulfillment Center (GCFC) P2P Analyst reports through the GCFC Plant Finance Manager. This position has critical responsibilities for the daily business continuity of the fulfillment center including MSO operations by controlling and administrating resources in terms of: OPDI, % FI Invoices, GR/IR including documenting invoice approvals, procurement card, 3PL prebilling, trueing-up, invoicing, and reconciliation, Purchase Order After Invoice (POAI) and is also the business link between P2P Costa Rica, regional and/or global Purchases, and within the North America Customer Response Network for invoice resolution and critical cases.

We are looking for individuals with the following preferred skills or experience:
Experience with or knowledge of basic accounting and purchasing processes
Capability to identify areas of improvement, engage multi-functional partners, and establish action plan(s) to achieve results
Provide end user training and support, as needed
Basic Word and Excel knowledge
Solid communication skills and experience with communicating up to/with leadership
Problem resolution and sense of urgency
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
Agility with flowing to the work
Physical Requirements:
Sit/stand in office environment an extended period of time.
Be willing to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to eye protection, safety vest, hearing protection and safety shoes
Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri day shift, 40 hours a week, with occasional opportunities for overtime.
Paid travel up to 50% of time during the first few months will be necessary.
