ORR External Engagement team manages our parliamentary and stakeholder activity.
We are looking for a talented, experienced and well-connected public affairs manager to lead, co-ordinate and implement our parliamentary engagement programme across UK Parliament, Scottish Parliament and the National Assembly for Wales as well as across Whitehall and regional bodies. The role is a significant opportunity to progress your career in public affairs. You don’t need experience working for the civil service or in transport but you must know your way around public affairs in general and the UK Parliament in particular. You must also be a self starter able to liaise confidently and directly with ORR’s Directors and the Chief Executive from the start. Whilst the role can be based in any of ORR’s offices you will be expected to attend meetings in the UK Parliaments, particularly Westminster.
