In this role you will:

Lead a range of projects across the organisation, by coordinating the work of many people and teams, acting as the conduit.

Deliver effectively through others, creating the structures and incentives necessary to sustain high performance and ensuring a focus on the bigger picture.

Drive effective stakeholder management internally and externally at all levels to meet the required outcomes.

Lead the team to manage the performance of all projects across the organisation, including presenting qualitative and quantitative analysis to senior stakeholders.

Develop the capability to provide support, guidance and coaching across all relevant teams and ensure continuity of skills and knowledge.

You will also have access to extensive learning and development opportunities, including tailored project management training to enable your continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Strong leadership skills and work ethic, with experience of leading a medium or large-scale project successfully with senior stakeholders.

Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrating the ability to establish trusted relationships, and the ability to negotiate, influence and persuade stakeholders including managing upwards.

Ability to use clear and effective written and oral communications, adapting style and method appropriately to audience.

You should have an adequate level of knowledge to spot an issue and implement suitable solutions.

Able to work flexibly and with uncertainty and limited contingency.

Preferred Experience

Experience of working with the public sector

No specific project management training is required but the candidate must be keen to develop expertise in project management.
