Job Description

Role Responsibility

Role Purpose

To support the head of construction and programme manager to project manage the fit out of new stores, relocations, concessions and refurbishments across the UK and Ireland.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple various size projects at any one time, and keeping within set budgets and delivering on time
  • Liaise with other departments and external suppliers to ensure products/services are delivered on time
  • Project co-ordination / tracking to ensure works are completed within required timescales
  • Perform principal designer role during refit works including excellent knowledge of CDM regulations 2015
  • Attend and organise site meetings throughout projects with contractors to assess works, identify and manage any risk or H&S obligations and provide documentation for the same.
  • Responsible for preparing the scope of works for refurbishment projects including site surveying and managing a tender process.
  • Conduct snagging reviews of works and ensure completion of the project on time and to budget
  • Help organise store development presentations and Capex ready to present to the Board
  • Working knowledge of CAD desirable but not essential, including awareness of legislation and the potential impact on the company.
  • Co-ordinate final accounts and H&S documentation, including O&M manuals
  • General office and administration duties
  • Experience in project planning, timelines, and critical paths

Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience

  • Knowledge of construction and most recent CDM regulations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management
  • Excellent management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project (Useful to have but not essential)

  • Minimise slippage on capex through error rate and contingency
