New Look has ambitious plans underway to transform our business and we are looking for a Project Manager to deliver key elements of our transformation plan. You'll be expected to manage one or more projects within the transformation programme and lead project teams to deliver the agreed business outcomes. Your projects will require bringing together resources and expertise from people, technology and functional business teams, collaborating with others across the wider transformation plan to ensure successful delivery of the programme.This is a 12 months FTC role.

Accountabilities:

For each project you will be accountable for:

• Leading planning work and accurately estimating costs, timescales and resource requirements for successful delivery
• Monitoring decisions & progress on project delivery versus the expected outcomes to ensure the project remains aligned to its objectives
• Managing costs, timelines and scope, taking action where these deviate from agreed tolerances and escalating when appropriate
• Engaging with the operational team/s impacted by the project outcomes to prepare for project handover
• Ensuring risks, issues and assumptions are actively identified and managed, taking appropriate action to resolve where needed
• Managing project dependencies as well as impacts across multiple business units,
• Ensuring all project activity is managed in line with New Look standards and policies
• Providing regular and accurate status reports to stakeholders including the EPMO

Functional Knowledge 

• A good understanding of different delivery methodologies and tailoring approach to requirement of the project
• Experience of delivering projects across different agendas; business change, technology, compliance etc
• Holds a project management certification e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, APM, Scrum Master
• Strong project financial management skills
• Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties.

Behavioural Skills

• Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with many types of audiences and articulate complex subjects or issues in simple ways
• Experience of managing matrix teams (preferred)
• The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
