Job Description

The Project Manager supporting the Foodservice Operations & Customer Service (FOCS) organization leads projects driving productivity savings. Primary job responsibilities relate to process improvement initiatives, including process mapping, measuring and analyzing process performance, conduct root cause analysis and identify improvement opportunity and implement changes delivering cost savings.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Leads strategic initiatives using waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Leads process improvement projects: Plans, monitors, prioritizes and reports on status of all projects and milestones. Leads process improvement projects from discovery and business analyses through execution and implementation.
  • Maps various Foodservice Operations and Customer Service (FOCS) processes.  Creates and modifies process maps to reflect both current and future states.  Conducts interviews with process participants to understand work flows.  Uses information gathered in interviews and process mapping software to develop process maps.  Conducts validation sessions with process participants and subject matter experts.  Develops and maintains process maps and facilitates their use as a tool for identifying process improvements
  • Analyzes existing FOCS’s processes, and works both independently and with teams to identify potential process improvements.  Identifies process inputs and outputs, defines “disconnects,” discusses and leads meetings on potential improvement opportunities, defines and documents suggested improvements and prioritizes areas of improvement.
  • Performs cost/benefit analyses change/impact assessments, new process designs and translates process improvements into logical system enhancements.  Coordinates the implementation/execution of process improvements that have been approved.  Acts as liaison and coordinates with I/T on system enhancements and projects related to process improvements.
  • Leads large scale transformations, capability initiatives, system enhancements, discovery, vendor selections, business and IT requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, role sorts, etc.

 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, Finance or equivalent work experience. MBA a plus.
  • PMP certified, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, Scrum Master certification a plus
  • 3 – 5 years business experience; Project Management / Operations experience in similar business setting.
