What you’ll be doing:
being responsible for the ownership and delivery of allocated business change/print/software solution projects for the CIC business
conducting thorough project scope review during project initiation
operating within an agreed PRINCE2 based methodology to ensure successful delivery to both internal and external customers
developing, updating and managing detailed project plans and ensuring appropriate allocation of resource, setting of timescales and agreeing levels of client engagement
ensuring effective liaison and engagement on all project matters across functional team leaders, business managers and client
ensuring effective communication with the client using appropriate project material within agreed timescales, which will include some travel to client locations
ensuring effective liaison with 3rd party suppliers on all project matters while ensuring solid relationships are maintained
creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, ensuring effective, pro-active management of risks, issues, assumptions and change
using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs and reporting on all aspects of project performance
reporting and escalating to management as needed to ensure an on budget, in scope project within pre-defined business processes
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
Experience with successfully delivering projects from inception to completion, within a high-pressured environment
Experience with project planning, scope review with competent use of reporting tools.
Experience with and competency in the use of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint etc.)
Strong customer facing skills for communication with clients at all levels
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail across all governance
Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills with analytical abilities
Strong stakeholder management experience
Desirable:
Hands on experience with Technical Projects
Qualified in Prince 2 to Practitioner level
Experience working in the print, mailroom, storage or scanning industry to help support business knowledge
