We have a great opportunity for a Project Manager to be responsible for the planning, updating, organising and managing of projects in order to meet the overall requirements of the client/business in the most cost effective and reliable manner.
The Project Manager will take ownership for the delivery of allocated IT projects and business change projects. The nature of the business will require the Project Manager to be capable of working on a number of various size projects concurrently. Additionally, the Project Manager will be required to work with other teams to plan, track and report on software releases planned for projects within Health & Welfare Division.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ownership and delivery of allocated IT and business change projects
• Operating within an agreed PRINCE2 based methodology (Capita EVOLVE) to ensure successful delivery to both internal and external customers
• Manage Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies across projects.
• Ensure project governance and act as first point of contact for communication of any changes, slippages or other requests. Ensure these are managed and effectively communicated to the customer and delivery team/s.
• Manage all financial aspects of the project in line with agreed management criteria e.g. P&L, stakeholder reporting.
• Act as a key facilitator within the programme, (e.g. being a point of arbitration between the client, the stakeholders and the solution team).
• Assist in understanding what the project / programme will deliver from a business and benefits perspective and to advise on areas where this in not congruent with the proposed solution/plan.
