Plans, organizes, secures, and coordinates resources to bring about the successful completion of specific Wireless Network program goals and objectives. Partners with project stakeholders, internal customers, external vendors, and cross-functional teams. Facilitates a cross-functional team to execute on defined deliverables and drives key decisions among program workstreams. Deliverables for these workstreams typically include requirements documents, work activities, program and workstream schedule, risk register, communication plan, understanding of resource plan, risk management plan, project budget, quality control plan, status updates, reporting, and tracking. Uses industry recognized/generally accepted PM knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to achieve a program’s stated objectives.

              

Leads smaller and/or less complex projects within a program under close to moderate supervision

Project based reporting, communications relationships, and sphere of influence typically occur within team, key stakeholders an direct management

Key workstream within a program cycle of typically 1-3 years

Actions at this level can cause or prevent delays and cause inefficiencies of a team

Projects are typically cross-functional (multiple departments) and affect business unit(s) or entire company

Develops detailed project schedules, project estimates, and status reports; Tracks key project milestones and dependencies and adjusts project plans and priorities to meet the needs of the program

Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations

Coordinates the cross-functional resources necessary to successfully complete the project

Conducts regular status meetings to review project activities with working team members and key stakeholders

Reports on project progress throughout the program lifecycle; Measures progress toward program goals and objectives

Budget management is typically limited at this level; Coordinates gathering and reporting on project estimates

Executes plans for time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk, and technological solutions

Identifies, documents, and communicates potential project risks; Assists with developing and deploying risk mitigation plans

Assists with developing methods to measure customer satisfaction; Coordinates the creation, documentation, and tracking of processes and procedures that improve the customer experience

Anticipates and identifies tasks required to support change management processes; Reduces risk from changing technological solutions and/or business processes and procedures

Build relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completion

Qualifications:

Minimum Required

3 years of experience in related field (ie: change management, process improvement, project management) or academic equivalent training or projects

Requires working knowledge of functional or related processes, development of methods and procedures 

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills

 

Preferred

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred

Experience in telecommunications industry desired
