The Technical Project Manager will play a critical role in building and leading the next generation of analytics capabilities at Hill's.
As a Technical Project Manager at Hill's, you'll use your technical expertise in data and analytics to lead complex, multi- disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. A mix of technical and communication skills will be needed to effectively manage analytics projects across diverse domains and geographies.
Wht you will do
• Technical project management of data and analytics initiatives across domains and geographies
• Communicate technical concepts & timelines to a non-technical audience in a clear & compelling manner
• Liaise between data + analytics experts and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable analytics tasks
• Management of project schedules across teams including business units, IT and vendors
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree finance, statistics, computer science, business or related field
• At least 3 years of project management experience including technical experience with data and analytics projects required
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree in quantitative field
• Proficiency with SQL and Python
• Experience with GitHub, dbt and cloud-based technology
• Experience with project management tools like JIRA and Trello
