We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Regulated Services Change Team. Here, you’ll be an integral part of the Change team within a project services environment. Working on external client deliveries, you’ll be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects to agreed time, cost and quality standards. We’re looking for a strong, dynamic individual with proven project management capabilities to join us. A team player who takes pride in their work and helping the team deliver, you’ll have a flexible approach to successfully deliver to tight deadlines of changing scope. This role offers you an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a number of different areas and stakeholders.

This Project Manager role is initially offered on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract basis, with a high likelihood of further extensions or a transfer to a permanent position elsewhere in the business.

Job Description:

What you will do:

  • Deliver and manage projects on a day to day basis against the requirements and to the agreed budgets, plans, schedules and delivery dates to meet the agreed success criteria.
  • Plan across all stages of the project lifecycle and obtain appropriate levels of sign-off.
  • Execute the project plan, monitoring progress and taking all necessary actions and escalations where appropriate.
  • Evidence that appropriate governance has been applied and maintained throughout the project lifecycle (internally / externally) including change control.
  • Ensure RAID logs are relevant, current and communicated in a timely manner.
  • Complete standard reporting e.g. weekly reports, ETC’s, Client Reports, board pack updates etc to requested timescales and quality consistently.
  • Effective management of project spend and forecast following account best practice and reporting processes.
  • Manage resource effectively and efficiently during the life cycle of the project, fulfilling all account planning and reporting requirements. Support the Resource planning process by providing regular and timely updates on resource requirements.
  • Adhere to the change control process invoking it where/when project costs exceed agreed tolerance and/or where a new or missed requirement is identified.
  • Ensure estimates are accurately completed and adhere to relevant governance approvals within the project life cycles.
  • Fulfil your line management responsibilities to support both the company and our employees. Proactively provide regular and appropriate feedback to line managers and employees regarding individual’s delivery and behavioural performance. 

Your experience will include:

  • Have a proven project management track record in a delivery environment. Bringing solid experience of the full project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate how your projects have been delivered against requirements and to the agreed budgets, plans, schedules and delivery dates and met agreed success criteria.
  • Demonstrate effective and productive stakeholder management both internally at all levels and with clients and third parties.
  • Build productive relationships with functions and third parties outside of the project team. Demonstrate how you have dealt with your key stakeholders in managing both positive and difficult situations.
  • Demonstrated experience in being able to lead, motivate and manage cross functional, multi-disciplined teams.
  • Demonstrated your understanding of commercial obligations, constraints and opportunities.
  • Be able to demonstrate timely communications and that you have managed escalations at appropriate levels.
