Position Summary
In markets where transparency laws and regulations are enacted by local governments or pharmaceutical trade associations, you will be responsible for providing global project management and oversight to the regional teams developing HCP transparency solutions.
Defined approaches are leveraged to ensure internal and external stakeholders are able to embrace changes made to local processes, systems and procedural documents.
Responsibilities include
- Coordinating a global matrix team to develop and optimize HCP transparency solutions
- Providing governance and oversight to regional transparency teams
- Coordinating with Change Management to leverage communication and training strategies to ensure adoption of transparency processes and systems
- Driving and supporting transparency deployments as required for new market implementations and new company integrations
- Supporting analytics and data quality monitoring solutions to drive operational efficiency and benchmarking
Key Responsibilities
- Defining the scope of transparency projects in collaboration with senior management
- Rigorous project tracking to ensure internal accountability, leading the communication of project updates
- Acting as key liaison between regional transparency teams and IT for problem resolution and system enhancement requests
- Deploying change control to clearly define business need and impact of any requested system/process changes
- Internal resource management to assess staff allocation and workload
- Coordinating with Change Management on consistent messaging to internal and external stakeholders and development of training to inform stakeholders of accountabilities
- Creating and leveraging standardized approaches for new market deployments using repeatable methods
- Document and knowledge management using SharePoint and other collaborative tools to support projects
- Coordinating with Transparency Analytics function to design and deploy monitoring and analytics solutions
- Providing operational support in design of business process models, gap analysis and process flow diagrams to ensure adoption of change from current to future state process
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree; MS or MBA preferred
- Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or healthcare industry experience, strongly desired
- Management experience in Project Management, Information Management, Technology and/or Operations
- Demonstrated strategic and functional leadership of process plans.
- Ability to deliver results by engaging, facilitating and directing matrix team.
- Experience defining future vision, articulating business plan, focusing resources, project planning and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with internal and external clients, including executives.
- Proficient ability to develop communications and deliver information that is clear, concise, and accurate and understood by the audience.
- Extensive experience with complex and sophisticated systems and processes, including requirements gathering to design process workflow, system interfaces and data feeds, as well as implementation planning (i.e. training, communication plan).
- Understanding of healthcare industry, reporting legislation, BMS products and organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects across diverse matrix teams.
- Ability to consider and appropriately incorporate diverse perspectives and opinions while facilitating timely problem resolution.
- Diligent attention to detail, accuracy, timelines and follow-up.
- Up to 10% travel time required
