Procter & Gamble is seeking an individual with strong project or initiative delivery in packing / packaging technologies to join our team at our Greensboro, North Carolina, Manufacturing Facility as a Project / Launch Initiative Start-Up Delivery Manager. There are multiple opportunities to lead projects and/or a team to deliver new projects/technologies, bring new products to market, and enable improvements/cost savings in operational excellence. You will be part of a unique organization that drives synergies and focus on delivering change with technical rigor and enabling operational success end-to-end. Here, you’ll play a key part in improving the capability, quality, and technical readiness of our systems to deliver changes in packing technology, packaging materials/products, and equipment in order to improvement business metrics.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Leading project teams and/or a small team of people for the planning, design, implementation, and qualification of changes in packing equipment, packaging materials / products, and/or new initiatives.
• Working as part of a multi-functional technical team to bring innovation to life for new packaging and packing equipment technologies with focus on driving technical rigor and building people capability.
• Enabling operational excellence at P&G with each change by integrating operational, equipment, and system improvements seamlessly into the changes being delivered.
• Partnering with operations, engineering, material and equipment vendors, and research and development on packing equipment and packaging component design for manufacturability, delivering cost savings, optimizing packing line performance, and enabling supply chain agility.
• Leading and/or leading a small team to deliver all startup activities across different phases of project implementation including design, construction, validation, and production for all equipment and product initiatives that impact the packing operation.
• Working within operations and/or as strong hands-on partner with operations to integrate people systems and machine functionality driving improvements in packing performance.

Requirements (Skills/Experienced) for the role:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or alternate Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent manufacturing / operations experience including the Armed Forces.
• Ability to be located in Greensboro, NC and willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with operations, packing equipment, and/or packaging materials.
• Demonstrated technical mastery, leadership, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to lead a team to successfully deliver multiple priorities at a time.
• Experience with a regulated industry, such as Food, Cosmetic, or Drug for knowledge of GMP compliance is a plus.
