With your expertise in coordinating projects and events you’ll contribute significantly to all tangible marketing activities of the LEGO Group in a core market. An amazing job opportunity you simply do not want to miss!

Core Responsibilities

• Lead organising & running key projects for the Western Europe Regional team – most critical being Nuremberg Toy Fair, annual Marketing / Sales conferences

• Work with multiple partners (>30) spread across Western Europe region to understand inputs/needs of various teams to above projects, arrive at a common concept or idea with your leader & then drive it across the organisation

• Lead the project CPS (/timelines) independently

• Identify and evaluate potential risks, problem solve & lead risks/ask for help to minimise impact

• Drive post-project delivery review process & document key takeaways for future events

• Maintain relationships of all key agencies/sub-teams to deliver projects & hold them accountable for high quality project delivery (on time, in budget, with periodic & on-time updates)

• Lead design & dissemination of communication to keep all key stakeholders informed at all key project stages & ask for help where needed

The Western European Marketing Team helps to shape the global marketing agenda, translates into regional priorities and creates regional frameworks for execution. It covers the functional areas of digital marketing, trade marketing, media management, marketing planning, marketing performance and brand management.

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor’s Degree (within Business or Marketing preferred)

• in-depth experience in leading large scale event deliveries (in industries like sports / fashion / beauty / consumer goods / e-Commerce / online learning)

• Strong experience of Project Management tools, MS Office Suite, MS project would be an advantage

• SAP experience would be an advantage

• Ability to rally & coordinate team/agencies to deliver his/her work

• Ability to define clear roles & responsibilities of all individuals involved in the project delivery

• A strong collaborator to steer effectively a wide range of internal and external partners (very diverse in terms of geography, seniority & business areas)

• Desire to drive productive change, comfortable leading multiple projects in parallel and ability to problem solve

• Ability & willingness to travel - expectation 10-12 trips per year for a duration of between 1 and 4 days mainly within the Western European region (Must be available for January for a 2-3 week stay in Nuremburg for the Toy Fair)
