Job Description

Project Administrator/Coordinator to provide support to Project Managers in the execution of project 
budgets, coordinate, direct and supervise personnel, subcontractors and vendors ensuring assigned 
project work is completed on time and within budget. Provide administrative and management support 
on multiple small, medium and large projects with focus on safety, quality, integrity, and client 
satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Dynamic leader with ability to manage multiple tasks at all levels
  • Understanding of Electrical and HVAC project trades
  • Strong computer skills especially Microsoft Excel, Word and MS Project
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Mature judgment and ability to perform work tasks independently and with little supervision
  • Understanding requirements and importance of a safe work environment, knowledge of OSHA 
  • Organizational skills, management of project costs/profitability and provide leadership 
  • Problem Solving, Conflict Management, Timely Decision Making, Negotiation and Stress Tolerance
  • Support of ABM Hiring process and Team Building
  • May be required to work other than normal duty hours, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays. 
  • Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise personnel, subcontractors and vendors 
  • Manage projects ensuring work completion on time and within budget
  • Comply with ABM safety, quality, integrity, and client satisfaction rules, goals and initiatives
  • Establish and maintain Master Progress schedule
  • Maintain owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations
  • Forecast revenue and profit for each project on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Maintain client and subcontractor contract documents 
  • Establish and monitor administrative procedures including billing, safety and labor relations
  • Keep management informed of project progress, client satisfaction and financial performance
  • Support and enforce at all levels ABM safety standards and requirement

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma is required.
  • Minimum five (5) years project management experience.
  • Minimum ten (10) years electrical testing experience.
  • NETA testing experience.
  • PMP certification preferred, but not required.
  • Must have extensive managerial and technical experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, procedures and standards.
  • Experience related to computer processing of costs and schedule information.
  • Well organized with strong planning.
  • Quality and safety oriented.
