Overview
Transport for London is one of the world’s best known and most successful integrated transport authorities. In just 20 years, TfL has gained global respect for its innovative and progressive approach to the identification of customer needs, delivery of high-quality service and use of mutually beneficial partnerships to maximise stakeholder and consumer value for money. We now play a key role in London’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

TfL is currently in the midst of our biggest challenge; transforming into a modern, sustainable organisation and meeting our changing customer requirements whilst responding to the terms of our financial settlement agreement with the Government, whilst providing safe and reliable services to support London.

By joining the Change team you’ll be joining a team of dedicated and motivated professionals. You’ll be helping TfL get back on its feet to financial sustainability and contributing to making a difference to mobility in London.

We are currently recruiting Programme Managers to be accountable for the successful Programme Management and leadership of specific pan-TfL Change Programmes. This includes providing structure and momentum throughout the lifecycle of the Programme, developing implementation approaches and programme schedules, putting resources and rigour in place and importantly building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders across the business to deliver those plans.

The specific areas we require Programme Managers are:

ERP
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a broad set of processes, data, and systems that helps us to manage our business. Using ERP processes and tools, we process £11.7m in fares every day, issue payroll for all employees, and process 35,000 invoices to over 8,000 suppliers per period. The Change Programme Manager for ERP will work with the Head of ERP Programme to drive delivery of the end-to-end lifecycle of a structured ERP programme, that includes Finance, Procurement, HR & Workforce Management projects.

Success Factors
SAP SuccessFactors is an HR tool that provides cloud based software for human capital management. It incorporates core HR and talent management features. TfL has already implemented two modules - performance and goals and succession and development. We are now looking to implement the remainder of the SuccessFactors features including Employee Central, Recruitment and Onboarding, Learning and Compensation and Benefits. The Change Programme Manager for SuccessFactors will feed into the wider ERP programme and will work with the SuccessFactors business lead to drive the delivery of the end to end lifecycle of the implementation of SuccessFactors, both in terms of technical and business change.

London Underground Change programmes
London Underground is delivering a range of changes, as it responds to changing customer demands, and reviews every aspect of the organisation becoming more agile and utilising new technology to become more efficient and environmentally sustainable. The Change Programme Manager, may manage one or more packages of change in the LU Change portfolio. They will bring structured thinking, a focus on dependency management and strong stakeholder and leadership skills and will be confident developing and driving programmes in a complex change environment.
