Job Purpose and Impact

The Program Manager will coordinate the development, management and execution of Factory of the Future program automation and shop floor analytics solutions within Cargill Protein – North America, while optimizing people and fiscal resources to deliver on key program objectives. In this role, you will provide oversight and leadership to workstream leads, project managers and deployment teams and will partner across the program workstreams to execute upon the overall program approach and business outcomes and metrics necessary to drive the initiatives in the program.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop program management strategy and approach in partnership with the Factory of the Future Program Leader
• Provide overall resource management for the program to ensure resource forecasting across the projects within the portfolio and programs
• Track and report on Program Level goals, progress, financials, and risks/mitigations
• Evaluate and assess the program’s strengths and weaknesses
• Monitor program and project performance metrics and goals as well as overall business impact of projects within the program and identify variances to plan and corrective actions as appropriate
• Lead and integrate Cargill Business Services resources into program structure to augment program support resources; manage work direction for project coordinators and measure effectiveness of deliverables
• Organize daily activities based on the goals of the organization
• Ensure project management methodologies are implemented and governed to ensure accurate program/project management reporting
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with program and project methodologies
• Proficiency with relevant office software for word processing, spreadsheets and presentations
• Demonstrated success in developing, implementing and leading strategic initiatives and a portfolio of project plans
• Experience in risk and mitigation management
• Minimum of six years of related work experience
• This position is open to remote but will require ability to travel 25%
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Three years of experience leading people
• Experience managing a complex program across multiple workstreams
• Project management certification
• Experience with Clarizen/MyPPM
