Disney Streaming's Viewer Experience (VX, or Customer Support) team is seeking a Program
Manager, Viewer Experience Program Management Office, to partner with Self-Service, Viewer
Insights, and our Disney Digital Entertainment & Games (DDEG) teams to implement strategy
and drive the execution of programs & projects across these lines of business. In this role,
you’ll be responsible for overseeing numerous project initiatives across Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+,
and more.
The successful candidate for this role must drive rapid execution while maintaining alignment
across multiple teams. If you love driving programs with a big customer and employee
impact, then this is an excellent role for you.
• Contribute program management skills and relevant work experience to drive strategic initiatives and tactical projects, working with our leadership teams to ensure adequate resourcing, role clarity, strategic decisions, and appropriate reporting/visibility to meet desired business outcomes.
• Act as a liaison between multiple partners in various locations globally – ensuring communication between all lines of business to gain project and program success.
• Lead and assist with project scoping, building project plans, planning, and scheduling project activities.
• Facilitate interactions between internal and external teams with productive meetings, clear and pre-emptive agendas, guiding groups through difficult conversations, and ensuring progress and actions are tracked and followed up on diligently
• Work to educate peers and PMO on best practices and ways to streamline planning and communication amongst various stakeholders
• Anticipate, Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, provide critical issue management, and make trade-offs stabilizing the business needs versus constraints
• Enable and drive business success globally and across all Disney Streaming brands
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of program management standards, norms,
and success metrics as the business grows and changes.

• 5+ years of relevant program or project related work experience
• Proven leadership and managerial skills with experience in a "customer-first" environment
• An ability to navigate through various programs and projects autonomously
• Passion for sharing information in a simple and actionable manner
• Experience working in a complex, matrixed environment and partnering across
organizational boundaries
• Strong analytical skills to visualize and resolve issues that are complex and confusing
to the business
• Excellent communicator, problem solver, decision-maker, and relationship-builder
• Ability to lead by example, influence others and facilitate agreement among
individuals with different interests and working styles
• Collaboratively disagree and commit when necessary
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with direct-to-consumer products
• Deep knowledge of media/TV landscape
• Experience with software/technology company experience (e.g., Salesforce,
ServiceNow, Zendesk)
• Experience with project management tools: Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc...
• Scrum Master Certification
• 3+ years in a customer service-related experience
• Bachelor’s degree
