Amazon Logistics is looking to hire an experienced, hands-on and customer obsessed Engineering Program Manager to drive standardization across our Last Mile delivery network. As a member of the Emerging Markets Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting WW standardization efforts, whilst also supporting Process Engineers with the necessary analytical insights to optimize operational processes on an ongoing basis. You will scope and lead your own design and improvement programs, driving benefit over safety, quality and cost-based metrics.

This position requires deep customer focus, strong self-motivation, deep analytical skills and exceptional project management skills. You will be a detail-oriented and comfortable leading and supporting large, complex cross-functional Engineering projects. You will have a hands-on approach and be an effective communicator.


This role will be based out of Europe and involves travel to Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Core Responsibilities:
· Capture, document and own station capacity across the Emerging Markets Delivery Station network
· Design, document and own operations clock templates for Emerging Markets Delivery Station network
· Support deployment of operations clock templates at point of Delivery Station launch
· Lead dedicated programs to benchmark speed and capacity opportunities across the Emerging Markets Delivery Station network
· Take on specialty development projects for periphery process areas e.g. line-haul, vehicle parking, traffic flow, sustainability requirements
· Develop programs to support standardization of Emerging Markets Delivery Station infrastructure and facilities
· Define and lead dedicated standardization projects to retrofit legacy buildings with the latest standards
· Partner with Engineering leaders, Facilities Managers and Process Engineers to support the creation and continuous improvement of operational and building standards
· Support team members with data collection and analytical insights as part of network-wide process improvement projects
· Apply best practices from and share best practices with WW counterparts
· Manage competing priorities, ensuring critical projects remain visible to all stakeholders whilst maintaining a plan for less urgent matters

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
· Experience in a similar senior role in a fast-paced industrial, logistics, production/manufacturing environment
· Advanced data analysis skills and an expert in using supporting tools e.g. R, Minitab, JMP, MS Excel, MS Access
· Excellent Project Management Skills
· Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement methodologies
· Business level English language skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
· Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
· Business level Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills
· Able to operate in open organization structure
· Hands on working style
