The Role
The WI Sales Program Manager is responsible for crafting and managing a portfolio of business-critical programs for the WI Sales organization with a focus on products in the Core market. This individual will be responsible for performing and managing a comprehensive Go-to-Market strategy for a variety of new/enhanced product and services, as well as important business objectives.
in the role of Program Manager, you will be a central leader across the Sales management team and broader WI Sales organization, as well as a broad set of WI partner functional groups, to identify, prioritize, develop and implement business strategy and execution plans which are important for driving the greatest sales growth for WI. There will be a strong focus on continuing to evolve our WI Sales organization with the most sophisticated technology and sales practices in any sales industry. This individual will be a strong, self-directed leader who can support the initiatives articulated by WI Sales Executives, WI Sales Managers and the Head of WI Sales Innovation to make client-facing WI Sales Associates more productive by driving projects and tasks to completion on their behalf. Areas of work could include improving interactions with clients and prospects in finals presentations, use of AI in Sales, enhanced demo functionality, virtual reality, optimization of hybrid meetings, digital/social media sales strategies, data analytics, process reengineering, use of existing and new technologies in Sales and other key initiatives which will have the biggest impact on sales growth. This role will also be a key collaborate with Marketing, Finance, CRM teams, Demo teams and select other Agile tribes and squads in representing Sales on key initiatives.
The Expertise and Skills You Have
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) desirable.
Demonstrated ability in project management
Consistent record of analyzing multiple data points to develop strategy recommendations
Track record of success managing multiple large, sophisticated, cross functional competing projects and initiatives and prioritize resources and time effectively
Innovative and creative problem-solving capabilities
Excellent influence leadership skills and capabilities
Ability to operate in a cross-functional matrixed environment
Strong organizational and project leadership skills, outstanding attention to detail and the ability to work well with various company groups and employee levels.
Excellent consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills, allowing you to proactively suss out (previously unarticulated) needs and “root cause†issues.
Excellent communication skills, including being able to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers
Critical thinking with excellent judgment and strong initiative
The ability to collaborate, lead and influence outcomes in a large matrix-managed environment, and across multiple and diverse groups.
The ability to effectively handle multiple initiatives simultaneously, while adroitly prioritizing tasks, deliverables, and schedules to satisfy the needs of diverse partners.
A “learning attitude†and a positive approach to experimentation and failure.
The ability to provide clear direction to a dotted line project team to ensure development and completion of all critical project/program documents according to defined processes coupled with the ability to identify and surmount challenges which arise.
Comfort with identifying, using and deploying new technologies to achieve measurable business impact.
Providing WI Senior Sales Leadership and other internal business partners with clear concise status reports of the overall project on a regular basis.
Representing WI Sales on key projects or priorities which matter most to Sales across the business and functions.
Influencing others to work with a demeanor of continuous improvement and openness to change. (Must have an organizational-change-agent mentality.)
Influencing the strategic planning, process, in support of business goals. (Processes to include segmentation and client/prospect coverage, integration of sales and marketing execution plans, CRM processes and infrastructure support.)
Driving alignment with functional business partners (including Marketing, Technology and Finance team members) to lead implementation of WI Sales initiatives; providing required project leadership and oversight.
