The Interoperability & Cross-Segment Regulatory Program Lead will be responsible for ensuring the compliance required scope for Interoperability, and mutually agreed upon cross-segment regulatory programs, is executed within the Medicare & CareAllies segment. In addition, this leader will lead cross functional programs and work collaboratively with business teams to drive execution of value-added strategic use cases that improve our interoperability position while contributing positively to our longer term architectural roadmap, segment strategy and goals for growth, affordability and operational excellence enabled by Interoperability capabilities. The individual will use benchmark data to evaluate and monitor market positioning, identify key drivers of value delivery across our strategy levers with in-depth focus on prioritized and funded business cases. The individual will be responsible for leading interoperability and other selected programs with an eye toward advancing value-added use cases or driving overt decisions around where we utilize capabilities unlocked by these standards and where we choose a different architectural pattern to maximize other business priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of the Interoperability roadmap and initiatives, supporting both operation and business/financial analytics
  • Strategic management and development of Interoperability Solutions
  • Provide direction and leadership to the Integration team
  • Responsible for the leadership of the Integration team on projects/tasks and initiatives that support the organization and bring value creation
  • Coordinate closely with various departments to deliver on all the client integration needs to be successful
  • Pull the capabilities unlocked by Interoperability through the strategies of Medicare & CareAllies and ensure thoughtful decisions are made regarding where we invest to fully unlock the capabilities of Interoperability vs. where we architect solutions differently from the perspective of quicker return on investment, less expensive delivery, etc.
  • Stay up to date on evolving Interoperability Ruling Changes and evaluate initial impacts to the organization
  • Anticipate how the market plans to take advantage of new capabilities as a result of mandated regulation
  • Ensures appropriate governance and decision-making methodology are in place and adhered to. 
  • Ensures integrity of original business case is maintained and any adjustments are communicated and understood by all key stakeholders. 
  • Resolves issues and determines contingency plans and triggers for risks.  As needed, escalates issues to appropriate audiences including key business leaders and team members. 
  • Partners with matrix organizations to ensure that appropriate action is taken to identify and implement initiatives. 
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with teammates and matrix partners. 
  • Act with a sense of urgency to research questions or issues brought by the team.  Identify the right parties or resources to resolve these issues (organizational agility). 
  • Identify opportunities to create value to the organization from compliance driven work and socialize to business partners and lead
  • Ability to create a business use case, including ROI and present to leaders

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in strategic planning, special projects, and/or other management positions supporting C-suite executive
  • Interoperability and/or cross segment regulatory experience
  • Experience or exposure to organizational management best practices
  • Ability to persuade high-level executives toward a plan of action using data-driven analyses
  • Experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work seamlessly with a variety of personalities and functional disciplines; excellent communicator in written and verbal form
  • Strong influencing and technical skills along with the following key qualities: Independence of mind combined with sound business judgement;
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity; Committed team player, willing to take accountability for results; Strong communication and team management skills; A good track record of achievement in their career to date and with a proven ability to deliver
  • Ability to embrace complex, technical challenges and who have the strategic and team skills to work closely with market operations to drive the business forward collectively.
  • Questioning intelligently, debating constructively, challenging rigorously and deciding dispassionately
  • The ability to listen sensitively to the views of others. Should possess the professional capability, intellect, caliber and track record to gain the trust and respect of other executives quickly
  • Develop a strategic plan, which provides the rationale and details for driving growth
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members and lead change in the execution of large-scale initiatives

This role is Work from home (WFH) which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
