Becoming a Technical Senior Consultant with Retain International:

As a part of Capita PLC, you will be working for one of the UK's largest and most successful professional services organisation. Retain International provides bespoke resource management software to a multitude of different sectors (predominantly professional and financial services), spanning over 70 countries globally

Your experience will include:

The role requires the following skillset, behaviours and experience:

• Strong technical knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience in database optimisation
• SQL Server Management Studio (SQL Profiler OR  SQL Execution Plan OR Client statistic)
• Technical ability and experience working with SQL
• Technical knowledge of current Windows operating systems
• Technical knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory)
• Technical knowledge of IIS web server
• Experience in virtualisation
• Ability to problem-solve
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Teamwork, willingness to learn and to knowledge-share

  The following are desirable criteria:

• Knowledge of, or experience with, Exchange Server
• ITIL awareness
• Some experience in project management
• Degree in computer science (or equivalent field of study)
• Pre-Sales support
