2nd Shift: Monday-Friday (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM)

Position Summary:

Coca-Cola North America, Lehigh Valley Plant seeks a Production Supervisor.  The Production Supervisor leads a diverse team of production technicians in a fast paced, high volume, technically complex beverage manufacturing facility to safely deliver quality products in the most efficient manner. This position is a plant-floor based leadership role to train, develop and mentor associates to manufacture quality product every time with minimal loss and optimal efficiency.  The successful candidate will also provide supervision during the off-shift to support the Quality and Maintenance Departments. The daily focus of this position is the execution of the production schedule for our BIB (Bag In a Box) and Hot Fill platforms.  Knowledge and experience in Root Cause Analysis and TPM is desired to support the elimination of downtime on plant production equipment.  This is a second shift position supporting 8 hour shifts in a 24/5 operation, running weekend overtime during our peak summer season.

Duties:     

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

  • Execute their assigned production schedule

  • Evaluate equipment and understand situation

  • Assess production downtime and material losses and complete reduction projects

  • Support the development of AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (preventative maintenance)

  • Coach, develop and mentor associates through employee engagement activities; delegating responsibility and hold associates accountable to performance and outcomes

  • Execute high standards for safety, quality and food safety across the production organization

  • Support Quality and Maintenance supervisor as required

              

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 2+ years’ experience supervising production, maintenance, or quality teams in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • 3 to 5 years working in manufacturing industry

  • Familiarity with of MS Office suite and downtime tracking software systems

  • Experience with Food Safety Management Systems or Certifications (ISO, AIB, etc) preferred
