In a remanufacturing environment and functioning within a team, performs multiples duties exemplifying total quality, safe working practice, customer oriented service, and thereby ensuring parts are efficiently disassembled and assembled within certain specifications and made ready for shipment to multiple customers. Duties are semi-skilled with various physical requirements. This position is also expected to support management objectives as they relate to ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems. The work location may be in or among several departments.

Job Responsibilities:

•Complete tasks as required by following established methods, policies, specifications and procedures. Exercise judgment and initiative in planning ahead, anticipating problems and completing job assignments.

•Maintain and open and honest relationship with team members and management. Support efforts of the team.

•Manage own time for tasks completion. In work area on time and seek additional work when time permits.

•Utilize prescribed safety equipment and operate equipment and machinery according to specified instructions. Demonstrate the ability to recognize potential safety hazards.

•Follow bills of material to determine parts, set-up and assembly and package final product according to schedule/customer orders.

•Manually inspect parts/components and operate various hand tools, presses, machinery and testing equipment in order to complete the assembly and disassembly process. Compare both parts and finished product against prescribed specifications. Package final product for shipment and complete appropriate paperwork.

•Utilize motorized equipment to move incoming and/or outgoing parts to predetermined warehouse locations.

•Clean/pick up immediate work area. Assist in the development of tooling/fixturing for manufacturing processing. May perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

•High School diploma or GED preferred. Work experience of one (1) year, prefer two (2).

•Team oriented approach. Ability to communicate with team members and other departments.

•Ability to lift and carry parts ranging from one (1) ounce to fifty (50) pounds up to ten (10) hours per day.

•Ability to grasp and move parts of various size up to ten (10) hours per day.

•Ability to walk and stand for ten (10) hours per day.

•Repeated bending, twisting, stopping one (1) to four (4) hours per day

•Ability to identify parts, read instructions, enter data and complete appropriate forms.

•Ability to follow all designated safety policies/practices/guidelines; including but not limited to use of PPE.
