Production Rotating Shift Supervisor– Ashburn, GA

Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor for the Ashburn, GA Plant is a member of the plant operations team who oversees the day-to-day operations and supports continuous improvement across operations. The Production Supervisor will apply skills to optimize processes, including analyzing and improving plant performance such as safety, cost, yield, quality, and reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifies and participates in Focused Improvement projects in support of plant goals for safety, cost, yield, quality, and reliability.
• Acts as a role model for safety and actively participates in safety programs.
• Collaborates with colleagues and provides feedback, mentorship, and support to operators and shift supervisors to achieve short and long-term plant objectives through the use of KPIs and Performance Excellence principles.
• Supports process safety elements including process hazard analysis, operating procedures, operator involvement, and mechanical integrity.
• Supports quality and food safety management program.
• Interacts with Maintenance, Automation & Controls, EHS, and Quality CoE members to drive improvements.
• Identifies safety, food safety, environmental needs and requirements; and ensures such considerations are included in the development and modification of facilities.
• Ensures Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are measureable value used to evaluate success in reaching targets for # EHS Incidents, overall equipment effectiveness, yield, first pass prime, readiness savings and reliability and uptime.

Education and Skills:

• Role requires 2-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing / production environment or 4 year degree in an equivalent field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to understand, develop and run production schedules
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong entrepreneurial action.
• Demonstrated team-working and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
