THE ROLE
The role of the Production Planning Partner is to oversee the production planning of our UK supply base, working with factories predominately based in The Midlands and London. This role will be Midlands based with 1 to 2 days a week in London. This role will work closely with our Sourcing, Buying, Merchandising, Technical and Materials Sourcing functions.
The Production Planning Partner will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maximisation of our UK supply base to deliver its full potential, securing production capacity to deliver stock into the business to meet our speed to market targets.
The candidate should have strong influencing and communication skills, along with a proven track record of working in the fashion industry dealing with multiple product types.

What you’ll be doing…
Overseeing the Production Planning of our Key Suppliers
Building strong partnerships with key suppliers to grow ASOS responsibly
Working closely with Sourcing Partners, Buying, Merchandising and technical team to maximise opportunities
Smooth running and maximise the potential of our available capacity to achieve speed to market.
Optimising the balance, flow of our production – working with key teams to ensure we are developing product and driving product & efficiencies
Supporting teams and ASOS achieve speed to market with our FWI framework
Staying close to new initiatives, process and ways of working and engage peers and wider business with these opportunities
Improving process and efficiencies within our supply base
Production Planning and Supplier Management of key growth regions/categories
Managing capacity responsibly across ASOS Design Brands ensuring that right product, right supplier.
Maximising efficiency of our production by optimising the balance, flow and regularity of our development and orders
Highlighting opportunity and minimise risk
Supporting speed to market
Supporting suppliers and teams with WOW, Engagement, and new opportunities
Managing a consistent approach to production planning and supplier forecasts.
Ensuring right product, right supplier with regular review of performance
Building strong supplier relationships to support partnership approach
Support and embed new sourcing initiatives
Stakeholder management - Opportunity and plan
Managing Critical path
Creating roadmap and status reports – highlighting risk and opportunity
Working with sourcing partner to manage roll out to wider business
Cross functional engagement
Supporting the wider business and sourcing team to land strategic change
Creating strong networks to ensure alignment & working towards the bigger picture
Supporting sourcing team with financial reporting and collation of numbers to support sourcing strategy
Engaging with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure financial data is aligned.
