Principal accountabilities

• Responsible to produce and dry salt in raw form by operating the evaporator salt producing and drying equipment
• Operating and maintaining all tank equipment associated with boiler room and all levels of the evaporator room
• Operating and maintaining all equipment necessary to screen, process Dry salt and provide product to the packaging lines
• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties assignments

Required qualifications:

• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-part employer.
• Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.
• Must be able to operate machinery.
• High School diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Preferred Qualification

• Prior experience in production related work.
• Prior experience with inventory systems
• Working Knowledge of MS office software with an emphasis on Excel and Word
