Multiple positions on 2nd shift (4pm - 12am) and 3rd shift (12am - 8am) available. Operate all required equipment to process raw materials into finished products while meeting safety, productivity, quality, cost and service requirements.

***Starting rate is $19.54/hr plus $2.00 shift differential and $1000 sign-on bonus after 60 days of employment***

PRIMARY  RESPONSIBILITIES  AND  ESSENTIAL  JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work safely. Participate in safety activities including training, 5S, JSA, and auditing. Complete all required safety training, contribute to plant housekeeping efforts and actively support an injury-free workplace.
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to perform multiple job functions effectively.
• Perform manufacturing operations in accordance with SOP and work instructions.
• Communicate openly and appropriately with coworkers, customers and other parties.
• Actively support continuous improvement and Lean activities involved with the ELS implementation.
• Comply with all applicable environmental, health, safety, and industrial regulations.
• Perform other functions as required.
• Overtime required.

Qualifications

What we will be looking for in you: 

Essential: 

• Operate computers, slitting, material handling, and packing & shipping equipment.
• Perform quality checks and record results. Proactively respond to any quality deviation.
• Perform operator maintenance and assist with other maintenance activities.
• Process orders via computer/manual systems and respond to internal and/or external inquires in a professional manner.
• Maintain housekeeping in work area.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Fork Lift experience preferred.
• Excellent work and attendance record.

 Required:

• Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. On a regular basis, standing/sitting/walking a minimum of 8 hours per day, standing approximately 75% of the time. There is also considerable bending, climbing and reaching on a periodic basis.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience
• Comfortable using a computer
