What will you be doing as a Processing Dairy Senior Operative?

• Correct operation of pasteurisation (milk and cream) and separation equipment.

• Processing correct volumes of various types of milk (and testing for positive release of finished milk)

• Safe operation and monitoring of all processing equipment

• Achievement of all quality and legal requirements

• Minimising wastage of resources

• Operate filling and packing equipment in a  safe, hygienic and effective manner.

• Ensure cleaning procedures are followed effectively and hygienically.

• Record all required information in an appropriate and accurate manner.

• Manage the cold store ensuring product rotation, labelling, wrapping and pallet stacking is undertaken to required standards.

• Assist in the cleaning and other activities within yard and building as required

• Ensure working area is maintained to hygienic, tidy and safe standards.

• Ensure H&S of all partners, public and suppliers are maintained through a proactive approach utilizing appropriate procedures and safe working practices.

What you'll have

• Food Hygiene Certificate

• Full driving licence

• Experience in machine/equipment operation

• Record-keeping

• Working unsupervised
