We are currently seeking Production Operatives for a busy manufacturing company based in the Medway Towns.

Duties of this role include machine operation and manual work - moving products around the site. Working on a production line, loading of raw materials into machines. Machine minding for which training will be given, and stacking and packing finished goods.

* Work in a manner that ensures a safe working area for yourself and your colleagues and is maintained to help reduce accidents to zero. To participate in the continuous improvement of SHE performance with the work area and at the site.
* Have a conscientious work ethic in respect of timekeeping and attendance and be able to work to agreed standards of productivity, quality and cost without supervision.
* Highlight own training needs and strive to become multi skilled in all areas of the sites various plant and machinery safely and flexibly as required.
* Achieve production targets whilst maintaining and improving quality of the products.
* Maximise cost efficiency by minimising waste and improving quality.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors throughout the site's manufacturing structure.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area.
* Assist in the maintenance of plant.

Hours of work are based around 12 hour days or nights Monday to Friday - working 6.00am to 6.00pm or 6.00pm to 6.00am. Enhanced rate of pay over 48 hours (over 40 hours after 12 weeks)
