Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

• assisting in the operation of various finishing equipment, including but not limited to Neopost mailing machines, Paragon pressure sealers/folding machine/ guillotine and, fusion enclosers or hand enclosing
• operating small machinery packing work into trays and moving trays to pallets or trolleys as needed
• assisting or operating and maintaining specified machines to the expected standards
• using cleaning tools such as brush and dustpan or cloth’s and spray to clean specific areas of the machine
• completing consumables stock takes for the machines as required
• maintaining machinery to the required standard of housekeeping
• ensuring product quality standards are achieved and maintained on the machines
• inspecting the produced work visually and completing the quality check paperwork
• ensuring all process standards are adhered to
• working in line with safety policies and follow the SOP for the process to ensure work is produced in the safest, most productive way

What we’re looking for:

• Proven track record within the print/mail environment or similar environment
• Good verbal communication skills
• PC Literacy is preferable, but training is provided for the same
• Willingness to learn new skills and to be flexible
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to work overtime when required
