Job Summary:

The FX Finance department is seeking a Production Analyst to assist the production finance department for all FX Production shows related to bank account set-up, funding, production accounting system set-up, payments and compliance. This role will work with other production analysts to support the Production Finance Executives in their oversight of shows in production.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with pre-production and post accounting including processing development payroll payments, processing of production invoices and funding requests, monitoring bank account balances, and ensuring accounting file boxes are prepped and scanned before being returned to the studio. Prepare various weekly status reports for shows in production.
  • Handle bank account inquiries including positive-pay exceptions, ACH exceptions, voided checks and stop payments for all productions on ZBA accounts; coordinate with accountants on handling refunds and deposits for shows on ZBA accounts
  • Perform monthly funding and studio cost reconciliations for all shows and follow up with accountants to ensure ledger reconciliations are performed timely.
  • Maintain and manage Show database set-up, user access, and forms, including ordering production check stock and managing all user access in the Production systems (Vista, PSL, Scenechronize) and on-line banking systems as needed.
  • Set up project ID's, map chart of accounts (SAP), and update project titles in SAP applications. Set up Studio vendors and prepare journal entries for upload into SAP.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

● Knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements

● Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP

● Ability to communicate with network colleagues and external representation

● Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate

strong analytical skills, and work well under pressure

● Demonstrated ability to work in a corporate environment

● Willing to learn production accounting software programs (PSL & Global Vista)

● Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to quickly learn new concepts, think strategically, solve problems, and implement solutions

Required Education

  • Four year college degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Minimum 1-2 years of accounting, finance or production experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with network colleagues and external representation
  • Must be organized, able to multitask, and work effectively under changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and constantly changing business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a corporate environment
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
