The Opportunity

The Digital Product Owner is accountable for the design and delivery of the Digital Consumer Experience for a new consumer-facing IoT project. As the Digital Product Owner, you are accountable to the Product Manager for quality delivery of the Digital experience of the product. You enjoy building Digital Products and overcoming obstacles to put a high-quality product into consumers' hands. You balance business and consumer needs to deliver strategic advantage, identify meaningful product features that solve consumer problems and ultimately drive product delivery.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Maintain the team roadmap and product backlog in collaboration with design, engineering, and brand partners
  • Interface and communicate regularly with stakeholders on progress and challenges
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies that are applicable to your product team as needed. (Stand-ups, retrospectives, refinement, and backlog planning)
  • Keeping teams aligned and on a drum beat towards broader business goals

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years leading product teams developing software 
  • Able to switch between tactical delivery and a strategic, forward-looking mindset
  • Experience driving data-informed decision-making and problem-solving with or without perfect metrics
  • Superb communicators that cultivate strong working relationships across functions and levels of the organization
  • Experts in technology, UX principles, and Agile development 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile / Scrum certifications
  • Experience with IoT products
