Agco is seeking a Product Owner to join their Connected Services located at their award-winning manufacturing facilities in Jackson, MN. The Product Owner will be responsible for (co-)creating, enhancing, and communicating a strong vision for the product, and will be aware of the necessity of linking the development team as well as all stakeholders (internal and external) to the purpose of the product and its development.

 

Responsibilities:

• Domain knowledge from a business perspective mainly, as well as at least a basic technical understanding, builds the fundament of the Product Owner’s value-driven decisions.
• Concrete understanding of all Product Management aspects, including but not limited to Product Ownership, that drive value for the product
• Comfortable influencing without authority, trusting and collaborating with an empowered development team
• Inspires colleagues to keep improving continuously and is eager to keep learning him/herself
• Uses extensive customer management experience to communicate with all levels of customers & users

 

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Bachelor’s degree in Software, Electrical, Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related field

 

Qualifications

• Technical and cross-functional teams to deliver value early and often
• Experience in working with different stakeholders to gather requirements
• Product Management: experienced in Vision and Business Model Creation (e.g. using Business Model/Lean Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, Empathy map, etc.)
• Experience in influencing alignment up and down the organization (e.g. able to explain prioritization decisions in releases)
• English language fluency (written & verbal)

 

Preferred Experience:

• AG or AG technology.
• Agile/lean environments; preferably experience with Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe
• Product Owner: including Product Backlog Management, (User Story) Refinement, Prioritization, Business Value Estimation, Stakeholder (Expectation) Management, Customer Management
• Strategic, large, or team transformations
• Manufacturing or Related field experience

 

Specific Training/Certifications

SAFe 5.0 Product Owner/Product Manager (or SAFe Agilist SA)

PSPO Professional Scrum Product Owner (scrum.org) or CPO Certified Product Owner (Scrum Alliance)

Agile Leadership (e.g. PAL or CAL)

Scrum/Kanban/Lean-Agile Foundation or similar
