Looking for a new challenge? Do you want to be co-responsible for driving the development, operation and continuous evolution of vacation platforms that allow us to use more diverse and digital mechanisms for sourcing vacation components and packaging them into products that make our customers’ lives easy? As TUI, we are the world’s number one when it comes to integrated tourism. The Flight Service is one of the services within the technology product domain and defines the Flights with their capacity and rules for the FlightOnly product. At the same time, it determines the Flight component in Package products that our customers want to buy and how we then manage the reservations of these products.
This role can be based in either our Luton, Berlin, Hannover, Rijswijk, Oostende or Stockholm office.
How you can make an impact?
There are many ways for you to get involved:
- You will contribute to the Flight Service Vision and Roadmap, which means a proactive contribution to our compelling Flight Service Vision and Strategy, understand the business needs from all TUI markets and translate the high level Flight Service Roadmap into achievable blacklog features.
- You will be responsible for the product backlog, which means you will define, develop and prioritize the product backlog for your team.
You will monitor and drive KPI business performances by defining the high level product KPI’s, OKR’s and success metrics and working with range of commercial- and customer data to support prioritization. You need to experiment often and use the ‘Inspect & Adapt’ approach to continuously refine. You will highlight under-performance of metrics and develop plans in the roadmap and backlog. - Stakeholder management will be an important way to get involved. You will create informative and inspiring demos to bring the features to life and will provide regular high quality updates to Market teams. You will work closely with stakeholders and ensure all stakeholders are updated and support the development of training material for product teams and support teams with implementation planning.
- You will deliver enhancements and new features by working with QA, test and release teams to ensure all features are of the highest quality and timely. You need to gain and maintain an expert understanding of the travel industry, TUI’s business and our drivers of value and wider dynamics in each source market and our competitors.
What can you bring to the table?

- You have in-depth tour and/or flight operating knowledge
- You have an understanding of Agile, and able to manage a product backlog
- You have good interpersonal and influencing skills and can motivate a team.
- You are able to translate high level business requirements into business solutions and to work with technology teams to clarify solutions at a detailed level and validate designs
- Able to contribute to making clear and well-thought recommendations to influence decisions and is confident to make decisions, even when all the desired data may not be available
