TUI Group is the world’s number one integrated tourism business. This is a key role within our Central Markets Ancillaries Team to lead the definition and roadmap for key ancillary products. Initially work will be focussed on the delivery of insurance products across all markets but could broaden in future to include tour operator ancillaries, new flexible customer amendment products and capabilities to allow bundling of ancillaries.
The successful role holder will work as part of a team of product owners partnering with technology teams to deliver production capability that maximises commercial and customer benefits, whilst enabling flexibility to build new types of product in the future.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Working closely with the Ancillaries Holiday Product Lead you would be responsible for liaising with commercial stakeholders from both the central and market ancillary teams to understand their needs and strategy, building strong  working relationships.
• Work with the development teams to define a clear product backlog that will support TUI on broadening and optimising its Ancillary portfolio and increasing both the level of automation and agility so that we respond quickly to market needs and trends.
• Work with business analysts and optimisation & insights to ensure that all Ancillary Sourcing Epics and features have a clear line of sight to business value and are prioritised.
• Good understanding of Agile ways of working and use these skills to engage with stakeholders, define and gain buy-in for an Ancillary vision and manage their backlogs. 
• Ensure that Ancillary Sourcing Service dependencies on other product teams are well understood and briefed to relevant product owners. 
• In collaboration with the whole team compose & validate User Epics, User Stories & Acceptance Criteria to a high standard before releasing
• Work with range of commercial and customer data to support prioritisation.
• Work with QA, test & release teams to ensure all features are of the highest quality and timely.

• A good understanding of the travel industry. 
• An understanding of Agile, and able to manage a product backlog
• Good communication skills, able to communicate the Ancillary Strategy to stakeholders
• Ability to translate high-level business requirements into business solutions and to work with technology teams to clarify solutions at a detailed level and validate designs
• Ability to understand complex data models, understand and interpreting such models.
• Able to understand user feedback and analytics and make informed decisions
• Good commercial and decision-making skills, able to input into Ideation and Roadmaps.
• Good interpersonal and influencing skills, can motivate a team.
