DESCRIPTION
Job summary Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total sales come from third-party Sellers. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon's 17 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local Sellers' success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally. We're now seeking a multi-talented, customer-centered, data-driven, deadline-oriented marketing manager to drive Brand Owner seller experience and success. In this role, you will dive deep into a suite of tools designed to help Sellers build their brands, and improve quality application of these BO tools for brand success. This role will work closely with product team, business team, operation team, channel team, Ads product team and stakeholders in worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Own Brand Success Product MKT for "growing and mature" Brand cohort, to help them elevate brand status globally;• Develop content/channel strategies and segmentation/targeting methodology to drive effective reach and influence;• Create advanced BS product content and integrated storytelling (success stories, playbooks, videos, etc.) to drive branding mindset, increase understanding and quality utilization of Amazon's brand program among this brand cohort;• Collect CN Seller insights from marketing channels for PM team to optimize the product offerings;• Set up marketing input and output goals, design and track marketing metrics and always seeking ways to improve;• Ongoing communications with global and CN stakeholders .About the team Brand Owner Marketing is a central marketing function to drive AGS awareness, preference, consideration among BO prospects/sellers in China. We are responsible for the full funnel BO experience, from upper funnel sentiment, demand generation, to seller education/success. Team members cover BO branding and lead gen; Brand Success product marketing; Brand Protection product marketing; and Private Brands segment marketing.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Fluent in English and Chinese, especially excellent in spoken English• Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Localization or a related field or equivalent work experience• 5+ years of work experience. Preferably in cross-border ecommerce, direct working experience with global teams.• Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines through process improvements and communication practices• Ability to use hard data and metrics from disparate data sources to measure marketing performance, determine improvements and innovations• Relentlessly high standards and an eagle eye for detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong content creation ability to articulate and simplify complex topics.• Hands-on experience managing CBEC operation on Amazon or other stores
