About the Team:

 We are the Product Marketing Team.

We create the messaging, positioning and content for all of the products within the Business Division. 

Our customers are both internal and external and our purpose is to drive greater value for the business by exciting them by really bringing out the benefits of the products and amplifying how they can benefit businesses. 

We are not afraid to try new things, creating different types of materials to suit different reader’s needs and to tap into how they like to consume information.  We are passionate about our customers and our products, working with different groups internally and externally to refine what we do in order to make a positive difference.

 

Our purpose is:

 

•To deliver great content and messaging that supports the business goals, to drive greater value into our customer base and acquire new logos

•To create sector and context-specific messages and stories to translate product capabilities into customer outcomes

•To create content and messaging in support of sales enablement for products, categories and portfolios

 

About the Role:

 

The people who read our product marketing content have different roles and different levels of understanding of the products and the technology that supports them.  The role defines how we describe and position the services.  The customer is at the heart of what we do and we try and put ourselves in their shoes by setting out what products mean for them and what benefits they can bring.  We don’t want the audience to have to read through a lot of detail before getting to the good stuff, we want them to be able to quickly find what they need, when they need it.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Working with the rest of the Product Marketing team, the role will have responsibility for areas within the following disciplines:

  • Product take to market content: creation for the website and customer-facing collateral (product/portfolio).
  • Sales enablement: Creating internal content for the sales teams, giving them tools such as objection handling points. Also to support with sales briefings and training, regular updates and/or podcasts – really helping our sales and service colleagues to navigate through the multiple product areas;
  • Creating customer outcome based messaging, bringing to life the benefits of our products to customers, making them relevant and really resonate. We want to help our internal colleagues talk to customers and help our external customers to quickly understand which product is right for them.

 

What We Need from You:

 

Qualifications:  

A degree or equivalent in, preferably, marketing or business studies

 

Experience:

Experience within a Product Management or Product Marketing position
