We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Product Marketing Manager for Liquidity working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Role Purpose

The Global Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.

This role is responsible for implementing the global Product Liquidity Marketing strategy and for supporting local and global Institutional & Product Marketing initiatives/projects as well as other projects/initiatives as prioritised by the Institutional & Product Marketing leadership team.

This role is part of the Asset Management Marketing & Client Experience team and while the role primarily supports Liquidity Product Marketing, you will be required to work across the spectrum of Propositions and Products in the HSBC Asset Management business, as required. 

In this role, you will:

  • Execute effective global/local initiatives across the markets.
  • Implement the agreed campaign and activities in line with the agreed Marketing plan, budget and activity schedule.
  • Provide assets for use online.
  • Ensure that all assets delivered are legal and compliant with the relevant codes of practice and are uploaded centrally for use by all markets.
  • Execute selected (Global Business Line) campaigns and Marketing communications activity for countries with little or no Marketing resource no Marketing resource.
  • Gain agreement from all key stakeholders to ensure support for campaign activities and budgets.
  • Work with Marketing communication managers and agency personnel to align and integrate activity, as well as inform and guide Marketing head and other team members.
  • Keep abreast of customer needs and latest Marketing trends within the industry via all opportunities whether face-to-face, online or via research.
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
 

Qualifications

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Degree level of qualification in business studies and marketing preferred.
  • Broad based business experience, ideally within a Financial Services based institution.
  • A range of Brand and Marketing Communications planning and execution experience.
  • Proven experience of working with teams over multiple sites.
  • Proven experience of developing and delivering customer communications in a regulatory environment. Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts.
  • Experience of working with and managing agencies, driving for greater value and application of resource.
  • Good understanding of communication developments and emerging consumer and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to work on multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills.
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities. 
  • Proven experience of working on content management particularly in the digital space.
  • Proven experience of understanding institutional & wholesale client audiences, and delivering marketing plans, initiatives, materials and activities to meet the needs of those clients – including digital delivery.
  • Proven experience of product know-how.
  • Very good communications and writing skills.
  • Very good project management skills.
